1. SHIBUYA SKY: 360 Degree Views on Top of Shibuya Scramble Square

Shibuya Scramble Square opened in November 2019 and is one of the large complexes connected directly to the station. It is 47 floors and roughly 230 meters above ground, which is the highest in Shibuya.

SHIBUYA SKY, situated in the East building, is Japan’s largest rooftop observation area that offers 360 degree panoramic views of Tokyo and consists of three zones: SKY GATE, a transitional space on the 14th to 45th floors; SKY STAGE, an outdoor observation space; and SKY GALLERY, the 46th floor indoor observation corridor.

On the rooftop observation space SKY STAGE, there are many things you can try that you have never experienced like SKY EDGE where you can see the Scramble crossing beneath the soles of your feet and lie down on CLOUD HAMMOCK to gaze up at the sky. With Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree to the east and the Shinjuku skyscraper district behind Yoyogi Park to the north, Shibuya’s latest attraction is quickly gaining popularity for its amazing views of the city.

2. Shibuya Hikarie Sky Lobby: Directly Connected to Shibuya Station

Shibuya Hikarie opened in 2012 and has 34 floors above ground and 4 basement levels. When it first opened, it attracted attention as being a landmark for culture and trends in Shibuya and has become one of the major buildings in the district.

Sky Lobby is on the 11th floor of Shibuya Hikarie. There is a quiet area with a few benches where you can watch cars and people come and go through the scramble crossing, the hustle and bustle of the bus terminal at JR Shibuya East Exit, and the Shinjuku skyscraper district in the north.
